I was training to be a professional athlete. Then I got injured and everything reset to zero.

I started in digital art later than most people. Spent a lot of money on classes, learned things I could've found on YouTube. Eventually I met a few people who were willing to be straight with me. That's when things changed. I built real skills, put together the right portfolio, got through school applications, O-1B, and finally a green card.

I made it. But I've watched too many others not make it.
Some had their OPT expire and had to go back to their countries and never came back. Some spent years stuck on a visa, living in constant anxiety. Some didn't make it through that pressure at all.

I'm not here to share a success story. I'm here to tell you what not to step on and which roads actually lead somewhere.
