1. Nature of Service & Disclaimers

• Novice Village LLC provides educational consulting. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or visa filing services.

• Service Timeline: Delivery schedules are governed by the descriptions on their respective product pages.

 

2. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew monthly. You may cancel future renewals at any time.

• Service Activation: No refunds will be issued for the current month once we have commenced working on your feedback or once digital materials/reports have been sent.

 

3. Refund Policy & Calculations

Special Note: The specific refund policies for each individual product or plan—as stated on its respective Product Page or Plan Policy—shall take precedence over these general terms.

• One-time Services: No full refunds once work has commenced (e.g., file review started).

• 1-on-1 Services: Refunds are calculated by deducting the "days of service provided," "hours spent," and "remaining project timeline" based on the specific plan's rate.

• Consulting Meetings: Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or late cancellations are non-refundable as preparation time has already been invested.

 

4. Film Festival Guarantee (Money Back Guarantee)

Applicable only to plans explicitly marked with this guarantee:

• Requirements: Submission to ALL listed festivals. No awards or recognitions (including Finalist, Nominee, etc.) received.

• Verification: Must provide platform screenshots (e.g., FilmFreeway). We reserve 30 days to verify results with festivals before processing refunds.

 

5. Intellectual Property

• All materials are the exclusive property of Novice Village LLC. Plagiarism or unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited and will result in service termination without a refund.

 

6. Governing Law

• Governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA.
